DESCRIPTION:This market-renowned and very popular three day training package is available for APC candidates working in real estate organisations and surveying firms that do not have access to a corporate APC training programme. We bring together up to 10 candidates in single groups for the intensive and highly-interactive two-stage programme\, which is suitable for candidates on the Commercial\, Residential\, Property Finance & Investment and Planning & Development APC Pathways. \nThe training sessions for Group O fall on the following dates:\nPaperwork Preparation – 26 May 2022\nInterview Preparation Day 1 – 12 August 2022\nInterview Preparation Day 2 – 10 October 2022\nThroughout the pandemic\, we have continued to offer our market-leading APC support to candidates. Most of our courses are being are delivered via distance learning and we are delighted with the terrific feedback we have had about this method of delivery. However\, we are pleased to announce that the Autumn 2022 course will mark our return to face to face training. We appreciate that many people find online training more convenient or more comfortable and as such will continue to run an online option. Note that Group O is our online-only training group. If you would prefer face-to-face training\, please head to the course information page for availability. \nWe manage the courses carefully to ensure that attendees still benefit from an interactive approach to learning that enables them to: \n\nIdentify the strengths and weaknesses in their APC preparation to date\nTarget APC preparation at aspects which require most work for them\nInteract with the best APC coaches during the sessions\nMeet other candidates in the same boat\nBenefit from ongoing out-of-session APC support until their interview\nHave an enjoyable APC training experience!\n\nThe Paperwork Preparation Day is an interactive session which will assist you with the preparation of your final submission and will cover:\n\nUnderstanding what APC assessors are seeking from your submission and final assessment\nThe countdown to APC preparation: How best to spend your time preparing for your submission\nHow to approach and complete all aspects of the APC submission\nUsing the APC Assessment Resource Centre (ARC) system\nHow to present your Case Study at your final assessment interview\nAn RICS Ethics overview and how to prepare for the online RICS Ethics e-learning test\nAn overview of important statutes\, regulations and RICS publications\nAdvice on time management and planning your revision\n\nInterview Preparation Day One will cover:\n\nConduct Rules\, Ethics and Professional Practice\nMandatory competencies\nCore competencies: Inspection\, Measurement\, Valuation (& Development Appraisals)\nHow to respond to Assessors’ questions: Practical Question & Answer techniques\nRevision techniques: Action planning for the final assessment\n\nInterview Preparation Day Two will cover:\n\nA recap on Ethics and Regulation\nSelected optional competencies (dependant on pathways)\nCase study presentations and Question & Answer session\nA review of topical issues pertinent to different pathways\nHow to prepare for the final assessment interview\nYour questions and concerns\n\nIt is important that you stay within the same group throughout the course in order to benefit from cohort and ongoing social media support.\nThose wishing to attend may request an invoice or pay by card.
